About Deuces Wild Video Poker
Deuces Wild multihand video poker is an online game that was developed by Realtime Gaming. The rules to the game are standard Deuces Wild rules but certain game features are unique to the software developer.
Deuces Wild is known to be one of the most popular video poker variants that make use of a wild card. As the name suggests, all deuce cards, which are the number two cards are wild and can be used as substitutes to form ranking poker hands. The game is available in a single hand version or a Deuces Wild multihand version where three, five, ten, fifty two or one hundred hands are played in one round.
Making Use of the Deuces Wild Cards
With the use of the two cards as wilds more poker ranking hands are added to the Deuces Wild multihand game. Unlike the standard poker rankings there is a five of a kind poker hand which is four of a kind and a deuce card, a wild royal flush which is a natural royal flush with the use of a wild and a four deuces hand which is the second highest ranking hand after the natural royal flush.
Deuces Wild Multihand Poker Rankings
Up to 4 000 coins can be won when a natural royal flush is dealt. This is the highest valued win and next up is the four deuces hand which awards up to 1 000 coins. Third highest ranking is the wild royal flush then the five of a kind; straight flush; four of a kind; full house; flush; straight and three of a kind which is the lowest valued poker ranking. Being dealt any of these hands awards anything from 1 coin up to 125 coins.
How to Play Deuces Wild Multihand
Deuces Wild multihand by Realtime Gaming allows a betting range of one to five coins on each hand, regardless of the number of hands in each round. Each coin has an adjustable value varying from denominations of 0.01 up to 1.00.
The online video poker game is played with a deck of fifty two cards for each hand and the cards are shuffled before each hand is dealt. Once the bet has been placed five cards are dealt face up to represent the main hand which is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Any of the cards can then be held or discarded but it is beneficial to hold only those that show potential to forming ranking poker hands.
The rest of the Deuces Wild multihand positions will then fill with the same held cards as the held cards from the initial hand. From then on all the hands are dealt cards to fill up the empty positions so that each hand has five cards face up including the ones that were held. Any hand with no poker value will be shaded over and those with winning poker values will be displayed in the game’s pay table that is situated on the left side of the screen. Only the highest ranking poker value per hand will pay out.
